Business venture:
Founder & Creative Director of The NY Film Exposure Network (NYFEN). It was just an Idea back in 2006. After a year of planning and of course my savings, I started NYFEN; a platform for emerging filmmakers to gain exposure and support charities/ non-profits who protect and educate children. It was always a dream of mine to contribute to the history of cinema.
What does NYFEN do?
Upcoming Events: "The energy is electric".
3 times per year, NYFEN generously host and produce Lights. Camera. Exposure! A red carpet screening and charity benefit event. At each event five (5) talents get to showcase thier work . And one filmmaker is selected to premier his/her short film. Next screening and benefit event is May 2011 Details.
Philanthropy:
A percentage of all event sponsorships and advertising revenue will benefit selected charities and nonprofits. NYFEN currently supports the following non-profits.
Charity Water (charity: water), Children of Our Villages, Nanhi Kali for The Girl Child of India.
